Protein | Beef, Turkey, Eggs
Our beef and turkey is sourced from USDA-registered suppliers. We don't use any animal by-products or rendered meats, which can contain hide, hair, hooves, and teeth. Our eggs are USDA-certified and they're a great source of calcium for strong bones. Our high-quality protein supplies your pet with the amino acids they need to build hair, skin, nails, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and cartilage.
Vegetables | Peas, Carrots, Cauliflower
Vegetables have many of the same benefits for our pets as they do for us. Colorful vegetables are packed with micronutrients, including the vital antioxidants that help reduce the risk of cancer. Just like people, dogs too should "eat the rainbow."
The fresh vegetables in our meals will help to alleviate any stress on your pet's joints, to keep the urinary tract healthy, to reduce inflammation throughout the body, and to promote strong, clear vision. This greater inner health is then reflected in a softer and shinier coat, clean and healthy skin, and fresher breath.
Carbohydrates | Potato, Sweet Potato
Carbohydrates are a great source of energy, and they help support the immune system and digestive tract. Carbohydrates provide vitamins, minerals, and fiber (more on that below) not found in proteins and fats. The right balance of carbohydrates is part of a healthy diet.
The carbohydrates in our meals are slow-digesting, high-nutrient foods. These are healthy carbs, necessary to fuel the work the amino acids will undertake in the body. With the right balance of these energy-rich foods, your dog will be healthier, happier, and more energetic.
Fiber | Pumpkin
Foods high in fiber are essential in a well-balanced diet. In modern diets, however, fiber is often overlooked. Because we use only whole and natural — never processed — ingredients, the carbohydrate-rich foods in our meals are also high in fiber, providing additional benefits for your pet.
Why fiber? Fiber promotes a feeling of satiety. It slows down the absorption of sugar and delivers more nutrients further down the digestive tract. Fiber helps maintain a healthy gut microbiome, crucial not only for good digestion, but health throughout the body. A healthy gut microbiome decreases risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and obesity. And the fiber itself passes through the system to normalize bowel movements and maintain healthy bowels. A diet high in fiber is essential for the health of your pet.
Healthy Oils | Coconut and Salmon Oil
Essential fatty acids are so called because, unlike other fats, the body cannot produce them — yet they are necessary for good health — and so they must be supplied directly by foods in the diet.
